Hello,

I know this is a mod basically to please the eye, but some aspects are based on facts after all.

I was wondering if it's possible to both do an effect which makes flames of fire come from the exhaust when the plane goes either on boost or WEP (110%), as well as maybe a trail of smog/smoke coming from the exhaust when accelerating, since both effects can be seen under certain conditions in RL.

What I think should definately be possible are the flames coming out if you fly above a certain percentage of power, since jets do that already with the afterburner-effect.

In the first way, I'd just like to know if it's possible, but of course I'd love to see that in effect.

There are no files to support any of those two effects for prop planes.
Unless some of the java class effects files are changed just a little bit , there is no way .

What about using the effect that results from using the wrong mixture and getting streams of fuel leaking from the exhausts? the effect I was hoping for should be quite similar to it...
Or is the problem to link the effect to the throttle percentage?

Also, what is the difficulty of changing java class files? I wish I knew more about true modding, but I haven't tried yet...

Java class files discussion is prohibited here .
The whole damage smokes could have been redone differently if just changing
many class files would be that easy .
I don't think someone will take the challenge and change anything regarding
smokes within AAA rules.

Linking mesh jet throttle and wrong engine mixture idea was there for long time,
the question is who's gonna do it , if that is even possible without other issues .
