Anti-Aliasing Problem
#1

When I had the GeForce 6200 graphics card with only one setting on the control panel that refered to antialiasing it worked perfectly. Now I bought a new computer with a GeForce 9800 GT that has more settings for it I just can't get it to work. I can set them every way they go but nothing changes ingame. Is there something I should change in the conf.ini file or somewhere else? Thank you.

In nVidia Control Panel you have to select override application setting to get the antialiasing to work properly or use nHancer. I use control panel only and 8Qx or how it was, works fine Smile

Also make sure that you're still using OpenGL in the game (when you switch cards the game has a nasty habit of changing the conf.ini) and that the HardwareShaders=1 is set in the Render OpenGL section.

Hope this helps.

In the nvidia control panel you need to select the Il2 1946 profile and adjust the settings for that profile. Beware, some nvidia drivers do not operate the nvidia control panel correctly, namely, the AA does not work. I abandoned the nvidia panel long ago and installed nHancer as it is easy to use and offers more adjustments. The only things nHancer will not do is adjust fan and clock speeds. I don't overclock my video cards, but I do use the eVGA Precision program to increase the fan speed on my 8800GT.
