Title needs an 'n'? Chiese -> Chinese
That was a pretty cheesy wisecrack, Real Darko.
Let's see if anyone spots the pun now..........
Hi Mandrill7,
Good idea. If we had a map and plane set for the Chinese Civil War, that could be an interesting transition to the Korean War material that's recently been made available. Plus, with a growing interest in 1920 and 1930s aviation on this site, who knows, this could open up possibilities for really long campaigns, stretching from the 1920s right into the end of the Korean War.
Of course, being one of the un-initiated, it's easy for me to say, but it would be great if some of the talented map makers and modders would work on this and make it available.
Thanks in advance,
RB

Agree with bohr-r : Chinese Civil War is one of the best way to cover aviation developments from the late '203 to the early '50s !!!
Avoir la foi, c'est être plus sûr d'une chose que la raison ne le permet.
ja, a china map would be great... But China is very big - I think a part of Southeast-Coast or so...
If it's a Formosa Straight map you're referring to, I agree it would be useful considering the F-86 and MiG-15 development. Iirc, the 1st sidewinder kill was in this theater, a F-86 downing a MiG-15 at superior alt. Good map for WW2 and post-war scenarios. Excellent map for the new B-25J strafer coming soon.
Hi I don't know if this will interest anyone.
Last week building my map making skills I made a 100 scale map of some of China's coast and inland China and Formosa.
I also think that the Shakashima Islands are also included on this map.
I am at work now. I'll post a screen of this map tonight.
I mainly made the map for the Divine Wind Squadrons etc.
Cheers Kirby

I have a map of the Hankow area finished with roads, (numerous) rivers, railroads, bridges ... but still without populated cities/villages or airfields and other miscellaneous objects.
If anyone is interested and willing and able to finish populating it, then please let me know. I will be happy to pass on the necessary files.
But please, only if you
100 scale
China Coast, Inland China, and Formosa
100 scale
Yunnan Province(Kunming)
I made the two above maps just last week
75 scale
Shanghai and Nanking
I made some time ago

I would be very interested in your load.ini and any textures used with your Hankow map. I'd like to compliment these maps to your very pretty Hankow map
