16bit colours?

Looking interesting , if that is 16bit color used , then I never saw before new effects with 16bit ,
holy cow ! , we should have tried for once to see how things used to look like in old days
Or did you used some kind of screenshot color enhancement ?
Got used to 32bit two years ago since older Pentium P4 puter with poop graphics card was
struggling with 32bit and is now gone and new rocket lighting fast machine is in the house :lol: :lol: :lol:
Thanks for posting it , it shows a lot of damage done after strike .

I used a program called Irfanview and changed the image to 16-bit and used Floyd-Steinberg dithering to achive this old photo effect.

Well, I'm still not happy with 32Bit, at least not the way it looks in IL2. I still notice a lot of banding. In another forum I have a bit of text with my signature that reads: Sept 2008: I want my 40Bit and xvColor graphics card and the display to go with it. Still waiting.

I have also Irfanview and will have to look more on all these Irfanview options for changing screenshots
