I did everything correct I think the buttons file is the problem i used SAS unified buttons 4.92v

Thats probably the problem. After reading all the posts I won't touch buttons from another site until they are finished resolving the issues. I use AAA 3.8+Halifax and have no problems .

As the Halifax is based on the B-24 Liberator then you can use that template. You can't skin the twin tails though unless you alter the skin2o.tga. Path for that is C:\IL2 1946\MODS\Halifax BMkIII\3do\Plane\HALIFAX-B-Mk3(Multi1)\summer.
