[Mod Request] AAA IL2 ModMan Update?
#1

I have recently begun flying rotors in DCS Blackshark, and have begun modding the sim similar to Il2. An excellent Mod management tool build for LockOn, and DCS is ModMan (Modification Manager) which provides an integrated mod management platform for adding, removing, and backing up a modded sim configuration. It also color codes successful mod installations, conflicts, or failures which is quite cool, along with providing a list including details for the mods installed. Really a stellar project/tool for managing a modded sim configuration! Given the huge wealth of mods found on AAA, a similar tool would be excellent! I did see some threads posted in 2008 about creating a ModMan for AAA, but it looks like there has not been any updates for a while.

I am new to ModMan, but for modding DCS it is excellent, and with my heavily modded IL2, a similar mod mgmt tool would be killer!

I, and I know others, use Jonesoft Genneric Mod enabler which accomplishes much of what I think you're looking for - - JSGME

found here -
