I did not notice until today. I can not start up a dynamic campaign flying a JU-88. If I chose "generate" I hear a beep which indicates something is wrong. But what can be wrong? Can any one help?

I don't know what it is but I have had the same problem with Dgen some time ago. I think it has to do with version switching but I'm not sure about that. The weird thing is that the beep doesn't come from your speakers but from minside your computer somwhere.
Me too I would apreciate if anybody knows what it is and what can be done about it.

When you hear a beep Dgen creates a file called "DgenERROR" in the games main directory. Open it with a text editor and look at the end of the file, the last line will tell you what caused the problem.

And this is realy strange, is it not? The JU-88A4 a Russian plane?

Have you downloaded Lowengrins DCG?

If you try to start a campaign that is made for DCG using DGen, or if you start a campaign made for DGen with DCG you get that beep

I do not use the Lowengrin Campaign Generator, so it must be another problem.

I think I know what the problem is. You are using an old version of the Dgen.exe file. The latest version is 4.0.8.6. You can find the latest version when you download one of the new Dgen campaigns at Mission4today.

I will download the file, but will it not create problems with other downloaded and installed patches and MODS etc...?
Can it only be downloaded at Mission4today?

I don't think the new dgen.exe file will cause problems. All you have to do is to put the file in the games main directory and replace the old dgen.exe file.
As far as I know you will only find it at Mission4today, for example in this campaign:

I know what I usually do if I want to fly a particular acft in a campaign. I just start a campaign in the DCG then open it in game and fly the first mission, then when the mission is over and BEFORE hitting APPLY, I minimize the game, open DCG and in the squadron section, I choose the new acft I wish to fly, then go to the CUSTOM MISSION PANEL and hit save and exit, then before closing the DCG I go back in game and hit apply. That will change my squadron acft to the new acft I selected n DCG. Then I can fly a campaign with that acft. I don't know if this is what you do already, but it works for me. I have not yet had success in putting new modded acft into DCG except for the Sabre and Panther. I tried the 410, but could not get it to work.

Just installed DGen exe file 4.0.8.6 (replaced the old by the new one) and tried to start the dynamic JU-88 campaign. Everything works OK.
