The vehicles look great, however the people in them still look like painted sacks with rudimentary features, they actually detract from how good the rest of the model looks. I've seen the infantry mod, any chance of getting the same detail on these sad sacks?

Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin First, a sincere thanks for your outstanding work.
I have only a problem with the texture of the vehicle "OpelBlitz6700A_RADIO", the same kind of problem I had met with the "OpelBlitz6700A_winter" textures in the library objects of the precedent version. The texture does not coincide with vehicle, it seems that the truck has remained the original IL2 with the addition of new antenna ... and the skin is totally out of position.
Maybe missing some file conversion image. Thanks anyway for the fantastic rest of work.Thank a lot.

Am I the only one having problems?... Sad
The trucks show up good, but the Kubelwagen and the fuel truck make my game crash in preview, and in mission stay blank (no skin)..
The vehicles that do work look amazing, if only I could make the other ones work as well..

These are superb, fantastic, beautiful. Thank you so much.
I was hoping someone would get to work on the vehicles as the stock ones are pretty crappy on the whole I hope you have the energy to have a go at the Locomotives, if not, then I will have a go myself (eventually) but my 3d skills are nowhere near as good as yours.

Sorry guys for the big delay in releasing these, with my pc woes Im still using my weaker pc to finish some of this work. Ive corrected some of the previous bugs with the opel trucks as reported and made wheels look better.

Here I put together more vehicles, hope you can find some use for them. Be aware not to use them in huge columns, because of the heavier poly count compared to reg il2 standards. For example there is a really neat mod out there that inputs very large columns, I believe 50 or more vehicles, wow. Depending on your PC specs, I know some of you have powerful rigs,I guess youll know what works.Like I said, I have a couple of lower P4s maxed out, these run pretty great and smooth. Anyway try them and let me know, like I said before,if you can use them great, if you dont like them thats alright too, because I enjoy puting them together.

Also you may notice new damage models on a few when destroyed.
If there is good interest on all these, I intend on updating them all including tanks and artillery, within my free-time and real life of coarse.

For you newer m8s, these replace the stock ones in the game only.

Install ; when you unzip rars, delete first folder, some folks might load all which will not work, example path should be

Mods\WFlyr_Vehiles\3do\cars\with the vehicle folders here.

Big thanks goes to Dr Jones and fatduck on development of 3D converter tool.

Have fun and CHEERS M8s.

Hey Wingflyr,
What did you mean by this (the letters in Red)

I have placed the 2nd folder in my mods , now will the game recognize the mod or do I need to select only certain folders inside that main mod folder. Sorry but I didnt quite understand your readme file....Can you please explain in a little more detail on how to install these nice textures. Thanks ahead of time....

First thanks for you comments,

Id love to use the high detailed figures from infantry mod, believe me I tryed, but Im afraid that the high poly count combind with the vehicle polygon faces are some what larger than the stock ones, but still generating some flow in the game, all problems occur. Ill keep trying
to upgrade the crew members to looking better, time premitting of course.

Stanislao
Retryed the downloads and all fine on my system (skin and distance issue), here are some shots,

The only thing I can suggest is to deleate all old version files and try to reload new, sometimes an old file may have been left or mixed with new one, skin and distance issue fine.

Panzerkeil

Sorry my man for your problems, I also tryed the same download, I dont know what to say but try to deleate all old and reload, other wise pm me the problem vehicle and I will try to correct.

Badger hey M8,

I remember you from the old original c1 forum from way back. Anyway sorry for the confusion, it was ment for newbies loading for the 1st time. For some reason I get 3 insert folders when compressing main folder.

The Wflyr_vehicle folder with the readme gose in yhe mod folder, then you have all the stock vehicles that are in the game, the other folders are optional or bonus skins sets you swap for use in other theatres of war. Hope that clears things abit, I know Im not the greatest at explaining things.

wingflyr,

these are amazing mate, really well done. I would like to ask a few things if i may, is there any chance you could have a look at some of the default figures? i am aware of the infantry mod but that seems to have gone a bit quiet, and i was thinking more of the figures for ground crew at airfields. Also could you possibly do different versions of same vehicle like recovery, engineer, flat bed, etc also maybe different camo, civilian colours etc. Lastly is there any chance of creating new vehicles? towed artillery springs to mind. Just a few ideas mate, more than happy with what you have given so far, thanks again.

Food for thought...

This is a WIP but serves to illustrate the level of "people" detail that is needed to match the detail now available with these new vehicles. These are a couple of Royal Navy personnel skins (Swordfish project) that I am currently working on. These work with the infantry mod that came out last year. (The two vehicles in the background are actually stock game vehicles that I have reskinned just to illustrate the detail and are not as good as the possibilities with Wingflyr's pack). This type of detail adds a whole new level of immersion in the game when taking off and taxiing etc.

The standard in game figures are not detailed enough and are badly wrapped so as to make detail skinning impossible.

It would be great if someone could find a way to adjust the meshes and put these figures in the "driving seat"......

Hey Bud,

Judging by your screenie you definitly mixed up somthing. Either you have an old version in your mod folder somewhere or you have the wrong skin in your opel medic summer folder. I can tell by the camo sceme, the one I released does not have tan and green like you have there, that is from something else. PM me with that problem vehicle by sendind a zip file, I will fix it for you. This way is probably faster than than back and forth instructions.[/u]
