Who says that 1.2 & 4.09m will not work?

I currently have my switcher set to go between 4.09m, 4.09b1mM and 4.09mM ... no flaws no glitches.. got the QMB ... You just have to disable Zutis DF mod to fly in 4.09b1 or 4.09 servers..

Confusedhock: The UI1.2 is really makes my head ache...
I have installed UI1.1 and a lot of SAS new aircraft MOD and 4.09m
So I have installed some MOD in the UI1.2 manually , but I got a lot of problems
I use the SAS buttons v2.21, it suppor the new planes in UI1.2
but the new P-38s and B-25s have no weapons
the new P-51s can't select to fly
the AAA_Motor makes the game freeze when the missions load 100%
the Zuti DS mod makes the FMB freeze when you open it
the PAT mod also makes the game freeze when you want to use the smog after I install some UI1.2 MOD

what I installed include:

i install 4.09m official over 4.08m and than ui1.1 and ui1.2 and disable zutimod and enable and disable all in ui1.2 instalation manual and all works fine!!!
i play on spits vs bf109 mod server too !!!

Well, I was on HL and somebody told me there was a new switcher for UI 1.2 that would allow the player to use 4.08m, 4.08 Mod (UI 1.2), 4.09b1 Mod (UI 1.2) and 4.09m (Official Final) as well as 6DOF (with the Mod versions)...all located in one IL-2 game folder.

I followed the instructions and it's working fine for me so far. I will include the link for the instructions below. If this is somehow against the rules of this site, the admin can just delete this post.

**Be aware that this switcher DOES NOT allow the player to merge UI 1.2 with 4.09m. It simply allows all the versions I listed above to reside in one folder, just like the old UI 1.1 switcher.

I can confirm this. WildWillie of Warbirdsofprey created this new switcher.
I use the new switcher since 3 days and it works flawless. And I could pass the CRT=2 of Warbirdsofprey without problems with this switcher installed

no joy for for me. damn, and i had it working yesterday, untill i installed the saber-mig. heres what i have just done.
1. patch to 409
2. run uni 1.1
3. run uni 1.2
3. remove zuti.
didn't work. any ideas?

You have to install this

So you can active your MODS under 4.09m
you must add and change lines as the txt told you in the SASMODACTv2.1, after that you can use the newplanes include the 4.09m path
then you reinstall the F86 and Mig15, you will sit in their cockpit :wink:

sorry i forgot to add that i had fisrt put in sas mod activator, and then run the two uni's. do i need to add all new ac lines manualy?

Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin I make everyting Ok now!!
I delete the AAA_Motor folder, so the game will not freeze when you load mission at 100%
I delete the Zuti DS MOD, so the FMB can use
I install the SAS buttons v2.3, so the new planes in UI1.2 now Ok
For the PAT MOD, it is conflict with the CockpitNetworkFix MOD, if your PAT MOD folder after the CockpitNetworkFix MOD folder ,your game will freeze if you want to drag the PAT smoke

Yes, why so cagey? Have you really got a U.I. 1.2 game running with all the 4.09m content as well?
And I don't mean just switching between the two, I mean all-in-one!

Actually, you can almost figure it out...the same method used to add 4.09m content to the U.I. v1.1 can be used on U.I. v1.2. But then, whose buttons do you have to use to do it?
