My 6DOF has gone south after upgrading my Fsecure 2009 antivirus software to 2010. The zoom has gone all strange and it sort of turns on its side when I lean foward towards the instrument panel. I probably haven't explained it completely right but the point is I have tried to run the patcher to restore the program to fix this but the antivirus stops it and delets a Trojun virus and won't let the program patch. I know the program is safe, I've used it for years without a hitch .
Can someone that has Fsecure 2010 please explain to me what are the steps that I should use to allow this program to work properly. How do I let it through the antivirus as the Fsecure is a little confusing to me and I don't know how to do this step properly , I'm worried about wrecking my antivirus.

my advice; get yourself another antivirus package. I personally recommend avast. :wink:

I run the same AV program.

Temporarily disable it and redo the install. This will let you initiate the patch screen when it pops up.

Also, you can choose to handle what to do with the "virus" manually if you want.

After the install, when you reactivate F-Secure, it will tell you it has found a virus and remove it. Let it do it because by then you have completed the install. It will run fine after all that.

It was actually the il2 exe that was the problem, I'm running a modded 4.09m and it did'nt support 6dof hence I did'nt have X,Y,Z. All fixed now.
