Hi all!

The military operation can not be won without air, a task of Aviation is to support the ground force.

In IL2 can fight other aircraft, but also support the land force, the German forces and Russian forces, they almost all vehicle they had at the time.

This is not the same thing for the American and English, many important vehicle that took part in this war are not in the game

& M-40 Gun motor carriage


Is it possible to make these battle tank and include them in the game
It would be more realistic battle scenarios.
At the moment we have only to destroy sherman.
Three of them are also used for the scenarios of the Korean War

There is quiet a lot of missing things in il2 1946, but yh, i see your point, as there are only a minority of GB and US tanks on the game compared to the German selection. Some nice pictures there.

I agree, it would be nice to have more Allied vehicles in the game, especially armor. I am certainly happy about what we do have in the game, and about what was added by some talented modders here. However, I think, even the German and Soviet vehicle selection, not to mention the Japanese and Italian, could be beefed up considerably. For example, there are only very few armored cars and scout cars in the game. It would be nice, to have more kinds of trucks, too. What about Jeeps and trucks used by the Special Air Service and the Long-Range-Desert-Group? Those would be neat, too.
Perhaps, as suggested by GhostRider, work could be concentrated on the late-war Allied armor first, because these could to some extent be used for both, WWII and Korean scenarios.

I would be grateful, if some talented mod-maker were to take some of this on.

Just my two cents on this.

+1 for more tanks. You can't really make a good ground battle without the correct varying selection of tanks to finish the enemy off. :wink:
