Hello all...I'm new to the "HSFX", but old to the AAA unified installer.

I did the fresh install of the game, and I patched it up, then I added "HSFX v1" and added the update.

My problem is this...the game in itself runs fine, but when I add ANY of the features with the "JSGME" (moving any feature from the left to the right) the game freezes at 90% loading...

Has anyone else had this problem????

Patch the game to 4.09m using the official patches

End result is IL2 v4.9m HSFX4.1 --- Fully modded with new aircraft and maps and server compliant.

Clean install 4.07 disk----4.08m patch----4.09m patch---HSFX-V 4.0-------HSFX-V 4.1

Yes I did...my problem now is that I can't get the game to play in "perfect" mode...

Hi guys... (Raptor)

I haven't flown in a while and I am trying to get back into it and I have a lot of questions.

I am running v4.08... +Sound Mod 9.2. I am not sure if I have a UI or UP or HSFX.
But maybe you can figure it all out for me

I just downloaded a few new planes...
(Spit XIV, the new Spit Vc's and MkVIII and the Spit XVI) The Spit XIV and VIII work well no probs at all.
But the Spit XVI's are having the same issues NightJar and FlashSim were having.

I had the 60% load crash - I fixed that with the new SAS buttons you recommended.
( It may be importrant to note that I do not have a GUI Folder in my MODS Folder,
so I replaced it in my - IL2 1946/Files/GUI/game - folder)
And that fixed the 60% crash as you said it would.

So the game loaded and I can see the XVI in the plane selection list... BUT It doesn't show the pic
of the XVI and the loadout field is blank on all XVI variants.

So I downloaded the US_weapons_AAA Mod and put the folder in my MODS folder and still no joy.

So my questions are :-

Do I need to have 4.09 installed?
Do I need HSFX or UI?
What are HSFX and UI?

If I do need any of the above, please tell me how to go about it in the most efficient way
'cause here in SA we have shitty ADSL Lines and my max download speed is only 48Kb p/sec.

I am a Spit nut and I would love to shoot the crap outta a few Nazi's in your beautiful looking Spit XVI.

Ya, ok... I'm running all the mods I want, BUT I can't get it to run in "perfect" mode!!!!
