The builder had a bit too much free time. Awesome diorama.

That is freakin' nuts....yes way too much free time...

i like the crash-landed bf-109 with the ground crew helping the pilot out.

Is this all from one diorama? like a gigantic scene of an airfield? or from many different smaller ones?

Man, this makes me wonder-what's up? Is he disabled and is this hobby his only activity? ...????... I hope there is no resurgence of the " Dark Side " of the force, if you know what I mean. Is this guy fantasizing about a fourth Reich or something?

Did you notice one of the figures looked alot like Adolf Galland? If this guy put his energy to work on IL-2, then he would be a hero at AAA!

Hey, someone write an email to this guy about IL-2!!!!!!

That is fantastic! It's a shame that some of the aircraft details are wrong. Regardless though, beautiful work. It reminds us that the people involved are the soul that gives life to the machines.

hate to upset all you that think that is a large custom built model set....its not, they are large toy soldiers made to a high standard much like the old fashioned GI Joe and Action Man dolls

see here for example

at a guess the planes are radio controlled , although the current catalogue does not include him, yes that is Adolf Galland and his dog. The pilots in the brown suits were bomber crewmen originally available too.

Nice work, the use of "natural lighting" really adds to the realism.

Q: What the hell is the scale?
