Go get a copy of LOMAC...there are C130 mods for that. This is a WW2 (and maaaaybe a Korea  ) sim. I doubt anyone here would make it for you, especially since I'm sure it's been requested before numerous times like other post-WW2/Korea aircraft, and nothing ever becomes of it except for people gettin irate about the whole thing.

Yeah lol you too..... :x

The only Hercules that would vaquely come in question would be the Hughes H-4 Hercules or "Spruce Goose". So either learn to 3D-Model or forget it.

Man sometimes I think there are nothing but people haters here, the guy asked a simple question, some replies were just plain rude, and for what purpose?? To make them feel small?? Or for you to feel big??? What happened to all the nice folks in combat flight simming?? Did they get replaced with just plain haters?? Some folks don't get the whole persona of keeping IL2 all WW2 era, and yeah it can be annoying to keep explaining it, but how much harder would it have been to say " IL2 is a WW2 era based game, and most of the modders here prefer to not go too far beyond that age in aviation" ....see didn't hurt a bit. Very disappointing to see that the gentleman aspect of this sport going to crap.

Okay, there is a very easy way to explain this to the guy. Yes it is possible, but it probably won't be made since it is a modern aircraft, relatively speaking, and this is a WWII sim. In the eyes of some, we've expanded this to WWI and Korea and that's pushing it. If you want to fight the norm, go for it, but you won't get a great deal of support. Sorry...

Goerge you are the man!!!!

There has been many a time when i have had a question to ask and would love to have asked the AAA site for advice but didnt because i felt the question was stupid!!!!
Stupid to someone who doesnt know the answer.
Surely we are here to help where possible instead of putting people down?
As George says, sometimes a simple yes or no or the wrong forum(diresct them to the right one!!) will do instead of all the silly"URGH DONT YOU KNOW" comments.

VOTE GOERGE he the MAN

gents, please don't get into an ettiquette discussion.

George has a point but at the same time, he needn't be so confrontational about the whole thing, as having arguments and the like is hardly an improvement on being disparaging.

To the world in general, try to temper your comments a bit more although in fairness most of the comments here saying no are not exactly bad compared to some that i've seen before. Even so..

Annoying the annoying, so you don't have to.

Yet again, our friend Moggy pops up as a mediator. I'm agreeing with both you and george on that one. He made a simple request? Must we tear him apart because his interests are different than those of some othere?

Im well aware that as a forum people have there say and as a moderator you have your work cut out,and that was a perfect come back from(what i have seen)aint a bad moderator.

i agree, and that's what i said george. same thing again and again...if someone wants to make a Hercules, go ahead, i'm simply stating i'm fairly sure at this point no one will.

If people wanted modern aircraft they should mod FSX or X-Plane, etc. into something like Il-2.
I know for a fact that X-Plane is built for plug-ins(Mac term), I know this is off-topic sort of but there are other flight sims out there that have already GOT modern aircraft. But I foresee in the future that Il-2 may be expanded to include all 20th Century aviation, but I doubt it because it IS first and foremost ONLY a WWII simulator, nothing less, nothing more.
I'd like to mention that people best be polite, because the 1910's, 40s, and 50s people were much more polite and courteous. I actually have quit playing two simulators altogether because people on forums were so ugly that I couldn't play them without thinking about those forums.

Sorry Mog if you thought I came off as confrontational, didn't mean to have that effect. I just remember the day when people were a little more friendly and a lot less hateful, it's a respect for your fellow man kind of atmosphere that I would like to see come back, and my question I pose to all, to yourselves, the next time you see a post that seems stupid or like a broken record from the "new" guys, why not ask yourselves, is there any reason why I can't just give em a simple answer instead of raking them through the coals, the question WILL be asked again, we all know this!!.......does that make any sense??
Respectfully,
George

I'm just sick of people making ridiculous requests for modern planes.
