HSFX crash on mission load
#1

I disabled my HSFX mod using the JSGME switcher and enabled Stock 4.09m yesterday so I could play online. Today, I switched Stock 4.09m off and HSFX back on using the switcher and now every time I load a mission, as soon as I start, the game crashes with the following message:

The instruction at "0x5ed0530e" referenced memory at "0x0000051c" the memory could not be "read".

I ran the Win XP disc checker and also increased my paging file size.

I have not installed any new mods. I disabled all other mods in the JSGME switcher and then renamed my MODS folder to "-MODS". It appears that the sole thing causing the problem is the HSFX history mod. Everything including the HSFX history mod was working just last week. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I reinstall from scratch once again?

Might try re installing HSFX 4.1 . If you do don't forget to rename you mods folder as 4.1 deletes the mod folder.

Good luck

I spent some more time working on this and I found that the new Zuti MDS v1.12 is causing a conflict with the HSFX history mod. Here are the steps I took to fix it in case anyone else is having trouble:

1. rename the MODS folder
2. reinstall HSFX 4.0, 4.1, and 4.11 over the existing copy
3. restore the MODS folder to be named "MODS"
4. disable the Zuti MDS v1.12 mod

Just curious if anyone else ran into this problem with Zuti 1.12. Like I said earlier, I had everything working together including Zuti 1.12 just a few days ago, then all of a sudden this problem happened.
