It means that in order to find out what the problem really is, you should hit the + keys at the same time to bring up the error console. This will give you a screen with lots of lines of white text. Somewhere (near the bottom of the screen) you will have a line that says ERROR.... That line gives more explanation with what is wrong with your load. Read it carefully and see if you find what is wrong.

Chances are that it will be a missing or misplaced texture or a mistake in your load.ini. But you should still use + to find out which particular error is causing the load to fail.
