To whom it may,
I am fixing to download the Unified Installer for the 6th time. Tha first time I did it many moons ago everything went down like clock work. Now in 5 tries I haven't been able to get a noncorrupt download! Well here goes one more time I will keep you posted.
Thank You,

Hello, OMDave,

I have some suggestions and things to consider.

Having true broadband internet connection and an uninterrupted one is crucial for avoiding corrupt files. Many InterNet providers advertise that they have high speed InterNet connection but it is not true broadband, resulting in download or upload corruption. Testing for file corruption is standard with IL-2 downloads and the information behind the link which I provided below this reveals what you need to do this.

Actually, for offline flying, you can use any mod pack that you want. Some guys are still getting the UI 1.1 and UI 1.2 because they have not installed another mod pack, for any of a variety of reasons.

Here is the link to my help post about handling the UI download which contains a bunch of information which is needed for ANY mod pack. Look about half way down the webpage of the link to my multi-colored post, named " Mods Download Help Here..."

(The link is inoperative)

I personally recommend the HSFX 4.1 and future add-ons like the 4.11 The mod pack is bigger than most guys would explore over years! The HSFX 4.1 includes almost all the UI 1.1, UI 1.2, beta UI 1.2.5, SFX mods, SPF file system, SAS mods, and a bunch of other nice surprises. It includes the JSGME Mods Enabler which makes switching, adding, and handling mods to be easy and quick, once you learn it. We have all the instructions and necessary links in our HSFX Forum.

If you want to fly online, then I recommend joining a squadron and using the mod pack which they use. Our Announcements Forum has a Squadron List where each squadron name is a link to their website.

Keep trying-the huge collection of mods are worth the effort. Big Grin

Well if you are gonna say something then say it aloud, But I don't know what you are angry about, I only gave you the truth... Because like if I said is right then if you are having problems with downloading it then why bother, just get the newest Pack.
