I don't know, but probably updated HFSX and UP's will have to come out to be compatible.

About the release, I read on mission4today.com, that they have a time delay but they're doing the beta testing mommentarely so, it can't be long now?

Whenever it does come out, we will have to wait for the modders who create UP and HSFX to come out with new versions of each that are compatible.
4.10 will require an unmodded 4.09m. You will not be able to successfully install it over either UP or HSFX.

I got you for you....

I guess I should read up on 4.10.. :-?
But it seems to me ...That if 4.10 isn't going to make the game.. run or look any better....Then why even bother

I like the mods....and UP2.1 and well wait for the change

4.10 has some nice extra features and new interface (qmb and input). New weapons and planes. Far more important than the looks of the game.

Team Daidalos, thanks for all your wonderful work!

And not to forget, lots of online features (moving dogfights, co-op on dogfight servers), and improvements of the mission builder. Also, judging by the looks of the He-129 video, they did a repaint to the german ordnance...

I wonder if the Me-110G4 Night Fighter will be in it....
They made no mention of it, but they have shown clips on Youtube of it taking off at night and the radar and so on...

Why is it not on their list of new flyable planes ?

It looks as though 4.10 will include some version of the Zuti MDS mod, presumably the latest version 1.13. This means it would have about all of the Cert AI stuff and carrier Takeoff mod etc., by default. They also have said they will include VOR navigation. We'll just have to wait and see what we get. In the meantime, make sure you have an install of "official" 4.09m ready to go.
I think the radar for night missions is meant to be included in a later update, due out later this year.

What would happend if I dissable all active mods in UP 2.0 and install the 4.10 patch? Feels like it might work fine...

My guess is that it would'nt work at all because UP with no "active mods" enabled is still not identical to 4.09m unmodded. Do what you like, but you may not want to risk fouling up your UP install when it's easy enough to set up a second install of Il2, provided you have the disk space for it.
