I can still only load and play 'Dynamic campaigns' since installng up2. I cant figure out what is stoping static campaigns working.

Could you be a bit more specific about what the problem just is?
Do you have the briefing but is no map showing left of it?

you have to download them. IL-2 stock does not come with any. search this site and others like flying legends or mission for today.

from 'main menu' to 'pilot career' to 'new', selecting an airforce then to choose a campaign that is listed in that airforces folder,
the campaigns available are only dynamic eg:'dynamic campaign for USMC in the pacific'.
Once upon a time I used to have listed 'all' the campaigns, in each airforces folder. I dont know where the dynamic ones have sprung up from.
