RDAF F-84 Thunderjet
#1

I'm not much of a skinner, but I had some fun making this, so I thought I'd share it.

I based this skin on a model that I saw in a museum here in Denmark and thought: "I've got to have that!"

It's not quite as good as I'd like it to be, so I might update this when I have some more spare time to perfect it.

Opinions?

Known bugs:

Size of the A-982 is a bit too small, but as the font wasn't available I used 3 different ones to get the appearance close enough, and they didn't match in size.
RDAF Roundels need to be smoothed a bit.
The rim around the nose of the engine should be all silver.
There seems to be some difference between the model and the 3d model around the canopy, but that will be left as is for now.
The difference in colour is due to the lack of detail on the model, I don't think it's a very realistic colour. Opinions on this are extremely welcome.
Similar F-84 for comparison: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3285/2321...131bf5.jpg

I'm currently working on more RDAF skins, F-84 in particular, and they'll probably be released when I think they're worthy of release; in the meantime, enjoy!

Thanks to Carosel43 for the image of the model, as my camera wasn't along for the trip.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot the credits to the template maker, mech layers etc. They're all on the skin.

Cheers
