Ok, you may not have heard of it, but this plane was desighned in 1930s, could hold lots of bombs or 128 soldiers or passangers, heres a whole page about it. and some varients were to carry huge cannons!

Already discussed on the SAS forum, where Sean2323 made the same suggestion at the same time. The link he gives is to a fantasy, though there was a single prototype K-7, which first flew in August 1933, but crashed due to structural failure later that year. Relevance to any combat ever likely to be featured in IL-2? Zero. If some modder wants to make one, fine, but hardly a priority....

Yes I agree. I mean I am all for 'would-be' aircraft mods, but considering that only one flew, i think that there are a lot more aircraft from the era still to cover that have more of a historical value (particularly in the war) *cough**cough* Defiant

It would not give us more mods, but less requests and with "affordable" planes.

No, I viewed it in a way of people wasting their efforts because generally a modder will make a mod that they want to make or, if they don't have an idea of a mod, they will choose to ask the forum
But who am I to say? feel free to stick to your 100 word limit if you wish.

In all fairness, the Soviet air arm was fascinated with future possibilities in aviation, just like many countries were in the years leading to WW2.

For Open Forum, this would have been fine.


The replies upto this say it all, as far as a mod request for IL-2.


I am leaving this here as an example of what kinds of things not to request.
