Ultrapack already includes HSFX. If you want all your existing HSFX mods in the new Ultrapack HSFX, you will have to transfer them. Any JSGME mods you have can just be copied over from the old jsgmemods folder to the new one. Other mods, depending on what they are, may have to be installed from scratch.

I have 4 game installs; UI 1.2, HSFX 4.11, UP 2.01, and then a clean 4.09 install.
I use the latter for copy/pasting to make more installs when a new pack comes out Wink I have a 500GB external hard-drive and I use this to run the games from Big Grin

I'm pretty sure UP 2.01 includes HSFX 4.11.
UP 2.01 handles the HSFX switcher differently than before (has separate HSFX folder, and renames the Files folder) so you should definitely not install UP over HSFX.

Perhaps someone can clarify something for me. I understand that the makers of UP have changed some of the FMs for certain aircraft from HSFX. I don't want to start a discussion about FMs here, but if I enable HSFX in UP2.01, will I get the original FMs for HSFX, or will some of them be different?
I wouldn't like to join a coop with friends using non-UP HSFX and find our FMs were different.

No, if you use the switcher to enable HSFX, you will get bona fide, original HSFX FMs.

It worked! I installed u.p. 2.01 over hsfx 4.11 and it works perfectly fine only problem is it takes a really long time to start (about 30 seconds) compared to hsfx 5-10 seconds, but its worth it.

Ok I'll bite - what is the advantage of installing Ultrapack over HSFX? I have a HSFX install & a UP1.1 & a 4.09 install as well.
I have noticed some things like several campaiges work in UP but not in HFSX, so I'm tempted , but in my HFSX install I have most of my mods & mod maps in the MODS Folder,so will this get screwed up? After the process( if it works...) should I still continue using Mods folder for new planes , maps & effects or does the process change & I use the folders found in the "files" folder? I've never been quite sure what to put into the JSGME utility as far as mods go.

Dietz, I personally can't see any advantage as UP 2.01 includes HSFX so really you won't be gaining anything in this way....
