HMS Matabele was commissioned in February 1939 and during WWII served in the North Sea, Atlantic and off Norway, seeing a considerable amount of action. On the 17 February 1942, she was torpedoed by U-454 while escorting the Russian bound Convoy PQ-8, and sank rapidly. Only 2 of her crew survived long enough in the freezing waters to be rescued.

Download HMS Matabele here, and follow the included installation instructions to use.

My thanks to asheshouse for allowing me to use his Tribal class destroyer, for making new classfiles to give the HMS Matabele her own slot and helping me out throughout the project.
