Hi Gents,

I need help another time, because, I can't use the beautiful PAT_SMOKE Mod...
If this Mod is installed in my MOD File, the game starts, I can select QMB, or a mission (campaign, Multi..), game is loading and at 100%, it returns in Window, with an error message ("Memory" and some numbers)...

I'm using HSFX 4.11, with UP2.0, and those Mods :

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is the Pat mod and where did you get it. I might be able to help you with more information.

The Pat mod started here at AAA.
It is now part of the UP 2.1.
What I have found that you turn off all mods in the JSGME and ONLY make
the Pat mod active. It works fine then.
With HSFX place it in the JSGME mods folder and then you can make it active.

First of all, I thank you for taking some time to help me.

Well, I installed PAT_SMOKE in my MOD file (you can see AAA_PAT_SMOKE), I also try to use it with JSGME (of course I disabled it in MOD file).
Before the installation of HSFX, with Unified Installer versions, PAT SMOKE was OK, I used it, and the cameras view were very interesting for films.
But since I installed HSFX 4.0, 4.1 and 4.11 and UP (2.0 I think) this MOD doesn't work.
May be I have an old version ? Maybe I forget something ? Maybe I have some MODS to disable ???

I really don't know...

Ok gents,

I just tried to disable JSGME Mods, and launched IL2, with PAT_SMOKE, I have had the same error message...

I have this error message each team if PAT SMOKE is activated.

I'm using a HP Compaq 8510p Notebook PC, Win XP, Service Pack 3, Intel Core 2 Duo, 1,79 GHz, 2,00 GO RAM

Any Idea ?

Well, I'm confused,

This is PAT_MOD, you know this marvellous mod for Camera views (and smokes).

Fire this is what it looks like.

When you press the "T" key smoke comes on and if you press the [+] or [-]
it changes colour.
When you press the F8 key the view changes like this.

Now I am running ONLY the pat mod here.

What version of the game do you have ?? UP 2.1 or HSFX 4.10 or 4.11??

I have seen it in screeshots and always wanted it. The PAT_SMOKE comes with the HSFX 4.1 like UP, correct? If this is the case, then this topic can help even more people. :wink:

I dont think HSFX has it - I had to add it.

The PAT_MOD goes in the JSGME. It works there, With both HSFX AND UP.

READ THIS!!!!! Turn ALL MODS OFF. Then the Pat Smoke Mod works fine.
