It's been a while since I've posted on any IL-2 related site, this has primarily been due to real life matters that had priority. The secondary reason was my frustration with the fragmentation of the community so I've taken a hiatus from IL-2 for a while, this thread will most likely be reposted on other forums if and when I get around to them.
As some of you already know, I am working on a RDAF skinpack and I do have quite a few skins as it is.
I'm looking for creators of RDAF skins as well as their skins, in order to make a combined skinpack for this highly neglected airforce since we have a lot of the aircraft in danish service available in IL-2 at the moment. If you've made RDAF skins and want them in the pack, please contact me, it doesn't matter if it was a single skin or a couple. I've seen spitfires, hurries and gladiators but I can't remember the creators of the said skins. If I can't find the creators of said skins, I will not include them and will spend the time making my own versions, so please spare me some work :wink:
At present I'm still tooling away at making F-84G skins and there are quite a few of them. A small pack was released on M4T and I'll take the liberty to whore myself out a bit... you can find them here: http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=...ils&id=679 These WILL be changed with the skinpack as the metal is far too shiny and I need to replace that with a more realistic looking metal look. However they are a nice stop-gap until there are more to choose from. :wink:
I do also have some HSR3 skins in 70% condition, but again lacking reference images in decent quality although I might be able to have one skin for that out without further references.
I'm also working on every other type that I can, with the aircraft that are available in IL-2 and that I can find templates for. (I'm not skilled enough to make my own templates, yet)
The biggest problem is that I'm lacking references, especially good quality colour images of the aircraft. I know the images are somewhere and that's why I ask at the second-most logical place, (apart from the RDAF itself,) the people who have an interest in the subject and possibly have information pertaining to this. Any information will help, books, articles in magazines, interviews, images, websites, etc. etc.
