I am attempting to make some 'realistic' Bf 109T skins for German Naval what if missions.. here is what I have so far.. Tell me what you think, Suggestions, wants, wishes.. and If anybody has any unit symbols that would look appropriate in a 'Kriegsmarine' fighter.. please pass them on to me..










After I finish the Bf 109T.. the Arado 196T.. Once again.. any wants, wishes, or suggestions.. MORE than WELCOME!

I hope you don't mind if I make a constructive critic? It is just I like very much the whole idea.

I think the shark emblem on cockpit side looks a bit too american in style, looks very "Warner Bross Animation" cartoons (yeah, I know, a famous historical 109 had a mickey mouse, but that is rather exceptional). The legend "Kriegsmarine..." doesn't fit usual german markings.

I just suggest to try make it look as "germanish" as possible...

I'll use the shark you suggested.. and as far as 'German' looking.. I am attempting to capture what MAY have been.. and be different than what the Luftwaffe actually had.. Although, I would bet that had the Germans actually built a large Carrier force they would likely have organized it similar to how the Brits did.. with the 'Air Force' being the 'parent' service to the Air Wing..

I am getting close to finished..

although with skins.. as anybody who has made them knows.. I am 99% finished and 99% left to go until its really done.. Meaning if I got them to a point I was VERY happy with them.. you guys would never get them.. as they would never be 'finished'.

Here is my plan right now.. Release two and three color skins.. in ' North Atlantic', 'normal', and 'Mediterranean shades.. Meaning the colors get more 'blue as they tend toward the 'Med'.. Each group would have subsets of 'Without National markings', 'with national markings' , and with and without the 'shark mouth and 'Kriegsmarine'

I hope to get these out and posted before I leave to fly my next trip for work..
