Just went, last weekend on M4T to fetch a lonesome set of QBM missions newly posted there,*
for the map MidAlpen... Unfortunately they needed debugging, at least for me...
It was a None mission without a player assigned, and a Scramble mission where a lone Mossie was
given flight number gb0103, conflicting with the four basic programmable quick flights:
gf0100,g0101,g0102 and g0103, or r0100, r0101, r0102 and r0103.
After changing to flight gb0113, all became very well...
I had flown for the past few day's the He-51 in Spain where I was shot down 10 times out 10
by those pesky Rata's, so I decided to try a leisure flight around in my newly installed "map" in QBM...
As I was gliding along over the city of Munchen, enjoying the ride, I then asked myself: Am'I on
the None mission or the Scramble one? I just took-off, so it must be on the Scramble mission.
Isn't there supposed to be a fifth flight Mosquito lurking around in there ? So I open-up
the mini-map, but saw no other red planes then a far distant incoming B-24 flight.
The city of Munchen now lays nearby, a huge red blotch on the map. Sh...tt must
be there hidden over it, and sure enough as I saw something moving, took
immediate action by turning towards the attacker, just seconds before I was blasted out of the skies...
After sustaining three dive attacks, I managed to shot down the intruder, barely avoiding the nasty forward confrontations...
The Video (14.59 min):

In fact, at the time of the video, it was my second duel with the mossie, the first time I still had my Spanish skin on.
After changing the skin to a German one, and rigging the game for making an "ntrk record", I took off a second time,
enjoying the ride along so well, YES AGAIN, enjoying the ride so well , that I totally forgot what I was doing and found
myself at the exact same moment in time where I was about to be blown apart, when I remembered what I was there for.
Strangely enough it unfolded the exact same way as the previous encounter, three dive attacks and shot-it-down !!!!
The ntrk (18.50 min/ 5.5mb ):

This is my first time ever video and post on U-tube. I have always wondered why, we never find the original sound of IL-2
on any of the videos; now I now why!
So it became a challenge to:
A- Make my first video post ever.
B- Make a complete game record video, from take-off to landing.
C- Make a video WITH the original sound of IL2 as it happens!!!!
* 4 missions, register at M4T then : http://www.mission4today.com/index.php? ... loads3&c=6
This leads you singles in missions4mods; also check new QBM section from now on...
