Guys I have been using this same joystick for well over nine years. Its a good stick but I have always had to deal with what I call a "nose bounce". Hated it but delt with it. Kept me from dogfighting and always had to speed fight.
Well today I decided to give my BU0836 pots and sliders a shot at the X and Y axis...NO BOUNCE! I have spent the better part of ALL DAY trying driver updates, etc etc etc with no luck. Like I said, it has done this since it was new back in the day. I would simply build my own using another BU0836 http://www.leobodnar.com/products/BU0836/ controller but I really do want the return to center force. Its not the best but it works.
I know I have been removed from the system for a long time and much has changed....cept for my computer. It still runs fine and I no longer fly on line.
I might even decide its time to build a control stick that sits on the floor and comes up like a real one!!! I guess the "throw" would be be way off though....anyhow.....
EDITED: My CH Propeds dies last night. I quickly removed the controller board, cut each end of the USB cable. Used three of the wires and connected then to my BU90836 controller board. All is ok now ;-) Oh, I never use the toe brakes anyway so I removed those pots to be used for something else.
