A few months ago my friend Lyle Jansma offered to me if I wanted to attend the Historic Flight Foundation's Air to Air Photography class and I of course graciously accepted his offer, the class has some of the best Aviation Photographers in the States teach people who are willing to learn and take the time to have a job like theirs. The idea is to take freelance photographers and let them get a taste of their own dream, the Photo Ship is the B-25D Mitchell nicknamed "Grumpy" and is currently the oldest flying Mitchell in the world. The photographers have the opportunity to choose if they'd like to take your flight with the F8F Bearcat and F7F Tigercat owned by HFF, or their P-51B Mustang and Spitfire Mk.IXe. As you know me, you know which flight I'm going to be on. My flight is on June 4th, and my god I cannot wait. And today we had the first session of the class, and here's the pictures from today.
