I would like to know why I can't get IL-1 game full screen on 2560 X 1600 resolution monitor?

We need to know more detail. Do you have a dedicated graphics card - if so, what is it?

I have two AMD Radeon HD 6770 video cards (1024mb, 128bit).
It is a HP monitor HP ZR30w 30".

Change those values in conf.ini, default settings don't go that far but trough the conf file you can.

I have tried that but it dind't work.
I changed from:
window
width=2048
height=1536
to:
width=2560
height=1600
No success.

So what happened? Did you have black bars? Did the file reset back to smaller values?
I'am sorry to been imprecise.
The screen still in the smaller values and the black bars only give maximum resolution option of 2048X1536x32.
One interesting thing is that I have the Strike Fighters series game and there is an option of 2560X1600x32 display resolution in the game graphics, works wonderfully!
