Hi guys, I have just installed IL2FB on my sons netbook and although it worked up to HSFX 4.11 as soon as I put on 5.0 the game refuses to start at all. I installed stock then 4.08,4.09,HSFX 4.10,4.11,5.0 and 5.0.1, even with the stock 4.09 selected in the switcher It refuses to start up at all now.
The thing is that I installed it so that my son and I can play co-op on LAN and I am up to HSFX 5.0.1 so I believe he needs the same level to be able to play together.

In order to get HSFX 5.0.1 to work do not use 4.0HSFX.

4.07m plus patches to 4.10.1 then install HSFX 5.0 next 5.0.1 hot fix.
Test your game after each patch install.

You wrote that you installed IL-2 Forgotten Battles on your son's computer, but all modding systems for IL-2 are based on IL-2 Sturmovik 1946.
