DCG Operation Overlord V1.1 DBW
#1

Hi,
Tested with DBW 1.71 and DCG 3.47beta6!

The campaign is divided into three subcampaigns:

Preparations for D-Day
Operation Overlord
Liberation of Paris

For the RAF, USAAF and Luftwaffe are separate Fighter, Fighter/Bomber and Bomber pilot careers available.

Differences to the last beta version:
---------------------------------------------------
1. Replaced historical GB tanks with US Sherman tanks due to spawn problems during the campaign!
2. Added larger vehicle columns for all sides to have more targets!
3. Increased amount of fuel for the Mosquito AI Squads, because they ran out of fuel during some missions!
4. Removed all Opel vehicles from some german airfields, so that the allied tanks are not distracted during fighting in these places!
5. Added more static ships to the Invasion beaches!
6. Replaced the russian artillery with US artillery via fobjects.dcg file!
7. Changed timeline and spawn date for the german vehicles in the timetable.dcg!
8. Reworked again Road traffic for the cities St Lo and Carentan and added red Flak to important locales!

Changes V1.1
---------------------
1. The Overlord campaign has now three subcampaigns, so that the Allied ground troops have a better supply rate when they are deeper in the Normandy territory!
2. Added the possibility to include the Typhoon/Tempest mod by "crazyflak" to the campaign!
3. Removed the P-38J15 from the campaign, because of a freeze crash!
4. Removed flying V1 Rockets from the first subcampaign (not the V1 Sites)!
5. Have made changes to all campaign files, like new naming of River bridges, new timeline of the campaign,
Escorts for heavy bomber, removed some static objects from the first campaign a.s.o.

So, you should completely deinstall the last version of this campaign, before you install this one!

To use some objects of this mod for the campaign make the following:

1. Let DCG creating the first mission, then switch to Desktop!

2. Open the new created .mis file (with Date) in your "/Missions/Campaign/"Service"/Dgen_PilotsName" folder with an Editor and copy the three lines at the end of the [NStationary] section!

Example: Gunner (GNR),Spotter (SPR), Ground_Attack (Level, for both sides)

If you play for the Allied:
--------------------------------
2000_Static vehicles.stationary.CandC$LevelUnit 0 7211.56 327465.81 360.00 0.0
2001_Static vehicles.stationary.CandC$SPRUnit 1 12481.54 327743.18 360.00 0.0
2002_Static vehicles.stationary.CandC$GNRUnit 1 17392.20 327992.35 360.00 0.0

If you play for the Axis:
--------------------------------
2000_Static vehicles.stationary.CandC$LevelUnit 0 7211.56 327465.81 360.00 0.0
2001_Static vehicles.stationary.CandC$SPRUnit 2 12481.54 327743.18 360.00 0.0
2002_Static vehicles.stationary.CandC$GNRUnit 2 17392.20 327992.35 360.00 0.0

3. Save it and let the campaign folder open, back to IL-2 and play the mission, and later same procedure for the next mission!

Looks complicated, but its a really quick thing with ctrl+c and ctrl+v!

Note: Dont copy these lines into the "DDAY1","DDAY2" or "DDAY3".mis files, otherwise will use DCG these objects as targets for missions!

Before you start a campaign, please take a look in the "Read Me" file!
