A few days ago, the F-4 was taken from frontline service in the German Luftwaffe. What a wonderful design! Avionics, engines, and other upgrades kept this type formidable for over 40 years.

A few years ago I was camping and I was close to a German military airport I seen F4's flying low very low over head every day wile I was there, they where so low I could see the pilots helmet color, it was like being at a air show.
