Telsa Model S Auto: Highest Ever Safety
#1

Good day,

In another thread in this forum I reported on the fastest electric car at the world track in Germany, breaking a track record there.

Now another electric car has taken the top spot for safest car ever judged by safety test standards, the Telsa Model S Car:

Good morning Fireskull,

at least I think at your home is morning too? 8:00am here :Smile)

I really like this car. If I had 60 - 90,000$ to spare I honostly would buy a Tesla.
It is the right (and only) way in the right direction, imho.

Many years ago I bought one of the first cars here in Germany with a cat.
I had only one petrol/gas station with unleaded gas/petrol at the time near my home....
I don't regret my decision for a sec.
I still have to smile when I recall a visit from the US and the guy asked what's the smell here in town?
You, the US used unleaded for quite a while then....

Sooner or later it will be the same with e-cars!
I admire people with visions, like Elon Musk.
And the Tesla seems to be a good looking car as well.

I just imagine driving through my town here, without any exhaust gas emission and without any noise, at least not much. 8)

Thank you for sharing by the way, Fireskull! :Smile)

Yes,

I feel the same about the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

You are right, it is the way of the future, these electric cars. Big Grin

Back in the early 70's when I used to go to MIT I got to see some of the first electric car projects being worked on with the backing of big firms like GM, Ford and so on, it was very futurities back then to see them.

Yes, DM, it has been available and viable for commuting to and from work for decades, since most people only commute up to an hour.

The wealthy class has mislead the nations by not adopting electric cars in huge numbers long ago. They are supposed to be our leaders? Where is the leadership in that?
:-?
