I want to share something I found out about the install of the game on the "C" drive in a separate folder as instructed by the newbie guide. A major benefit of this is My motherboard and video card failed on my PC. I almost started over , new Motherboard, CPU, RAM, Video card etc. I kept the same original hard drive. I reloaded Windows 7 64 bit on the drive. (originally had XP.) After the install of the new Operating System and getting the PC back online. There is a new folder created called "Windows Old". It has old programs and files etc. The old original IL2 1946 folder was also still on the C drive. All intact and ready to go. No need to reinstall ! Just jumped right back and started flying! It was untouched with the new install of Windows 7. :o

Building it from the ground up, there is still much to do with this damage model
Animations, sounds, fire and more, as soon as we have it all in and proper we
Will make a video to show you it in action, O yes, some may wonder what the
White lines are, they are just for us to see that the damage texture was replacing

Hab mir UP3 gezogen, installiert und mal ein bisschen "rumgeschmöckert".
Frage: Was sind die Unterschiede der einzelnen Sets: Classic Mod Game, Stock Game, SAS Modact 3, UP3 und Dark Blue World? Sind hier noch andere oder zusätzliche Missionen versteckt? Wie komm ich an die ran?

I'm making something. I need opinions on how this is going. I'm using Sony Vegas 9.0. I'm still trying to find the best filters and best rendering quality. Below are 3 videos I have rendered. 2 of them are a before and after clips. and 3rd one is just random dogfight. I'm trying to make it look Noir, Cartoon, and Comic Book at the same time.

Korea In the Cold war Era Version 1
Welcome to Korea in the post vietnam era. First and for most all credit should be given to Dixiecapt it's his map and although they don't look the same the bases are all his. All i did was make use of the cut and paste feature in the unlocked FMb to edit the bases to look a bit more modern based on my experience while serving in the USAF.
This is version 1 of the map and it is still a WIP i wanted some feedback on FPS on different machines so if you download this please report your findings so I can determine if it's to much or continue to improve the bases.
I have also included a mission template it and the map were made using 4.101.m SAs mod act 3.06 and Jetwar V1.2 I do not know how it will run in UP3.

Thanks to Batbomb I used one of his airfield textures if you do not have his BB_North_Vietnam map I would encourage you to check it out. I have however included the texture folder from it so you can have the airfield texture.
Again I hope you enjoy the map I have spent a great deal of time building K-55 Osan Ab, it's the Home of the 51st so it's where I spend most of my time.

With the newer Jets and espically the F-4 from S3 you have limited forward view from the cockpit so I have included approach markers on the map to help you line up on final Misawa Ab,& Osan AB the runways are 090 or 0270 K-8 Kunsan i haven't finished yet so the markers will be updated in Version 2
You will also need if you want to see the markings on the runways this little gem
I think it adds a great deal of immersion

Its been a while since I was on AAA and when I came back it was gone! but then I was redirected to AAS which to my great happiness is alive and kicking so I havent touched IL2 46 for a while and now that I have come back to it, I wanted to install the new HSFX 5 with access to all the new planes, extra missions, and all that good stuff. After torrenting the files, I installed them into my 4.10.1 il2 46 and used JSGME to enable history mod. I click on my desktop shortcut for il2 46 and I tried quick mission builder and the plane list was still the same with none of the new planes included, so then I sent into the hsfx folder and found the executable associated with the history mod which was also entitled il2fb, I run that in administrator mode and it just freezes @ 60% on the load screen, I tried again in compatibility mode for xp and it got to 95% and froze. I was really sad about that because I really wanna play HSFX 5! So can anyone help me out? Thanks alot! :)
