heres a thought though, and it might involve something more than just a sound byte modification. I always wanted to have correct P-51 sounds in game, but i see a huge problem with trying to get a correct sound for the wind that howled through the ventral radiator. Our mustangs in game sound right ok with the engine, but that howl is just sadly lacking.
I wonder if it would be possible to have some sort of trigger in the planes engine / sound / whatever that allows this howl to be heard at certain speeds. Or if it would be possible to have "a 2nd engine" in the plane that is hidden and produces no thrust or alters the FM in any way. its just on and the only sound it makes is that howl. kinda like how the wingtip engines are triggered to work on the BI-6
Im just an idea guy, so I have no idea if this is even possible, but it sure would add to the immersion of flying a mustang.
