hint #2: Most aircraft will sink very rapidly in IL2 unless they are all the way up on the beach. They will sink completely out of sight even in what looks like very shallow water like this.

Bingo! You got it right...was actually A6M2-N. It is indeed resting on it's keel. I tried to do a series with this theme for other planes but they sink right away.
