Ditto.

I hate steam.

The entire reason I'm so into IL2 right now anyway is because I can't have internet where I live. I used to play IL2 online all the time and I was ok, now, with it being the only game I can really get into I should be a lot better when I finally get hooked up.

If Steam had its way, I would have nothing on my computer.

My intro to steam was when I bought a $60 game, I was prompted to sign up for Steam on installation. I figured it was just some free program promotion, so I put it on there, you had to if you wanted to install the game. Well I played the game a lot, then some time later my computer died. I got a new one and installed all my programs, but then I found that my $60 game wouldn't install unless I got it from steam.

Only by this time I had no idea what any of my account info was because like most free crap, I never intended to use it.

Of course now I always check the FINE PRINT to make sure nothing I buy is a Steam game.

That is a bunch of crap.
