Ya got that right Dixiecapt! Phil_K is DEFINITELY a pro at making campaigns. 8) When he comes out with one for this map, it will be right out of "Guadalcanal Diaries"!!

The Slot can be the source of an incredibly large set of campaigns. You could write squadron specific campaigns, based on their actual combat records and dates or a fantasy campaign that keeps the player assigned to combat for the entire journey from Guadalcanal in August of 1942 to the end of the war. The number of different aircraft and markings would also span the length of the war. Pardon me while I drool over the beautiful scenery and the possibilities of this map.

Sulla, the standard map release will have the runways "normal" so that it will be like the stock game. Some of the wider runways will have 2 parallel paths set so that two planes will be able to TO at once on one runway.
There is a technique to allow spawning into revetments by placing additional airfield markers, I can add those in as well, such a change would be one small file for the whole map, then you could have a certain number of planes spawning into dispersals.
