Hawker Hurricane cockpit textures by Avala

It will be ready for download in few days, but I will send it to MrJoly for an installer, and to make it "official". I have tested it so far on machine with 512Mb and 1024Mb of RAM, Fly_Zo tested it on 2048Mb. I Have notice maybe slightly decrease in FPS, maybe about some 10% , that can also be my subjective feeling, but there is significant stuttering on machine with 512Mb. Therefore I must either make some files smaller, and thus make less RAM usage (for 512Mbs computers) but also decrease in quality, or I will make detailed readme how to erase some files and to stays just with new instrument panel, not whole cockpit (so called "poor man,s" cockpit  ), Either way, the results are great given that old cockpit have 3,3 Mb and this monster 25 Mbs.

It took me from the beginning of december, in my slow lazy pace, but take in consideration that I have to discover what instrument and gauge is for what, to find images to as more as I can about their variety, to discover what colors suit best to "in game", right font for number and lettering, which should resemble as much as possible to the real one. BTW, with the way and technology how they produced them in those days, every cockpit (and plane) should be considered in a way unique.

But, with all assets ready and with some experience I assume that dedicated man (or woman) can make it in some 2 weeks.

This is great SB

It really is stunning what you've done here... I really hope you keep going and going. There are so many pits aching for a makeover... most of them really.

Now we have some nice 109 pits, a Hurri and I hear that 190 pits are in the works on the French forum.

Personally, I'd love to see new pits for the IL2s and Yaks as well as the P39 but I'm not sure how popular those a/c are these days. They're still really popular with me though Smile

Can't wait to see this work in the flesh.
