Bf 109F-2 "Galland"

Is it possible to add an optical gunsight as Galland put on his 109 F-2 ?
the Buffalo F2-A2 gunsight should be used for this (no need for open it)

The aircraft you have on the picture is a Bf-109E-4, not an F-2.

Btw.: Galland's E-4 had an optical gunsight, his F-2/U hadn't.

A profile!!

try photos, his Special didnt have the telescope.
It wasnt a scoped gunsite mearly a telescope to ID targets at a greater range

ive seen pics of gallands F2 and possibly an F4 modified with wing guns recently!.... cant remember where tho..mmmmmmmmmmm! Hey Hawk..where in Stoke ya from duck?..i was boslem born nt bred!

Its not right to do it if its not historicly correct. Find the proof (Photographs) and it can be done

Ugh, here we go again.

OK, if its historically correct how is it cheating? Are the gyro gunsights for some late war craft "cheating"? What about the extra mirrors?

ok nice guys to find the proofs... :lol:
i knew it had been used but couldnt find any proof

that's clear that only a few pilot used this because they preferred that to a "classic" gunsight
