Great and useful mod. Thanx! 8)

Has there been any progress made in integrating this into MyJolly's mod?

Things sure have beenawfully quiet lately Big Grin

Mr Jolly has the code changes needed to merge the Speedbar mod into his HUD mod. I suspect he's been even busier than usual though, with the server problems and all. I'm sure he'll get to it soon.

I did not find any problems with new no-cockpit instruments mod. Just load this one BEFORE nci, and you should be fine. I checked it both with cockpits on and off -- no glitches.

I'll give this a try. Just to confirm, the two mods we're talking about are:

MPH_AND_FEET_HUD
MPH_KPH_AND_FEET_METERS_HUD_v2

Correct?

And MrJolly, should I just decompile the class files in your mods and work on those, or do you have a reference java file you'd like me to make the updates to. Either way is fine. I'll send you the updated class files to check out to make sure I haven't botched something up.

I've released version b2 of the speedbar increments mod. The updated links and description are in the original post.

Changes in version b2
---------------------

- Allows user to choose the units displayed at mission startup (kmh, mph, knots, none).
- Allows user to set the increments for altitude and airspeed.

Let me know if you have any problems with it.

And for those that have been waiting, we do plan to incorporate the speedbar mod into Mr Jolly's HUD mod as soon as we've worked out any bugs in this new beta version.

Fireball,

Can we have all version showed at same time? Kmh, mph and knots one above another, it would be good for learning what is what and how much kmh are in knots, for example. Also for altitude.

Wow!, I think this one is a great idea... Maybe with smaller font the speedbar with all this information needs the same area in the screen.

Thank you Fireball.

Regards.

Excellent Idea, I've been flying with Kmh & Meters Alt. since first IL-2 was released. Would luv to make the slow transition to learning the others

Yikes!!! Big Grin

Actually, I took a quick look at the code, and it looks like it wouldn't involve TOO much major surgery to do something like this. I've got some other projects that are gonna keep me tied up for the next couple weeks, but if I get some time after that I may give this a go.
