OK, here are two links:

Pick your choice and put the "3do" folder inside your 109 cockpit mod made by Freddy. It will ask for overwrite, say Yes. A backup of the Mod is recommended... maybe you don't like it. Just make a copy of the 109s cockpit mod made by Freddy folder to Desktop or whereever you like.

It should look like this:

example G2 without the orange roundel and wire moved (in Gunsight OFF mode)



example G2 with the wire moved and in "gunsight ON mode"

Okay, being lazy I would say let's start with the ugliest cockpits on popular aircraft. The P-47 and Stuka (!) are good examples. It's not much use at the moment to improve on already nice cockpits as the FW 190 etc is it?

One candidate definitely in need of a make-over is the He111. It is soo badly bashed together from low res textures you need to feel ashamed flying it in cockpit mode.

Indeed... I flew the other day a recon mission in AWII virtual war with a He111 and I was puking the whole flight.

I'd do it my self if I had the necessary talent as He111 is my favourite bomber. Many of her clocks can be reused from FlushMeister's FWs and Freddy's 109s . With their approval offcourse... maybe one of them would do it sometime. :oops:

There are just so many aircraft cockpits in the game that are so crap that you didn't realise they were, until we have seen the work of Avala with his Hurricane, Freddy and the SG crew with the 109's and of course the Flushmeister and the FW...
I would be entirely happy if all the existing aircraft cockpits were re-painted to the above standard, even if we didn't get anything else, because as it stands, until these guys went to task, the only really decent cockpits available in game were the Tempest and Gladiator..
