First off, thanks for a needed and important 109 mod .
I have a quick question.
Is there any way that the double panel bullet proof front protective glass can be removed from the BF 109 -F2/B ?
It was standardized from the F4 onwards but was rarely seen on the early F2's that I know of.

I was looking through a number of photographs of 2/JG 51 Jabo F2's as well as several other units that
were flying Jabo missions at the beginning of Barbarossa and all of these early F2 models were without.
Also visually,the only difference between the F2 and F4 now are the strengthening braces on the F2 tail section. What do you think? Could it be done?

Just looked at the pics a couple of pages back.I would guess they are from the 109 site.
I do believe the photos are mislabeled. This can very easily happen.

I did want to prove that the E racks are wrong, which is clearly visible on the photos, and not that the F2 would have had armored windshields.

No, but i really hope we could have the new lods for F2 & F4, with code for bombs and rack ASAP. This now is a sort of "waiting for" mod, where you can play jabo......after years.....

Lods for default F2 and F4 models, are not coded for bombs and racks.

most likely fitted in the field or during upgrade with the 20mm MG151. And I guess for a Jabo, armored glass is never a bad feature

Will we also see corrected FMs for the 109Fs when carrying droptanks / bombs!? As far as I can tell they dont suffer any performance hit from these...

Strange, loadout are not included in the .fmd files code.

readme txt file you need to take some of the ini files and copy and paste the scripts for those to show up.

Imusing the Bf109 Cockpits pack from this site...used the "freddy fix" but get an all messed up cockpit.

So, no cockpit for me.
