The scale is approximately two-thirds full scale.

The map covers practically all of Southern England, most of Northern France, a good chunk of Belgium and a little of Holland.

When Compans first suggested it I had my reservations, but as soon as I tried his textures I knew it was the right option. The airfields are fully and accurately populated so ground attacks etc there are fully immersive.

The screenshots look really impressive !

But, just one question:
What is the appearance of these 2D "flat" towns when the light is low (early morning or late afternoon) ?

Anyway, thx for great work ; I can't wait for the release ... !!!

Well, I've been out there many times with the military and with visits to my girl who was posted out there.. When you do eventualy drag yourself out there Porco, wait till you try to get yourself around the place following their system of road signs, and then tell me it still rules.. hahahahaha! :mrgreen:

LOL Trooper, 100% agree with you on that one. Have you ever been to Ypres? That was inrtriguing, but the people there aren't very pleasant. One old lady pushed in front of me and when I said 'excuse me', fired a burst of flemish at me. As moggy says:

I wish there was more of holland anyway Thanx for putting Holland in your map you are the First one in IL2 History to do so
