Fantastic!
Do you think you could do another tweak for the Macchi fighters and change the crappy landing gears of the 202 and 205 series with the 200 one, which is way more realistic in behaviour and well made? That would ROCK! :-)

Unfortunately, your mod doesn't seem to fit this aircraft, a member of Italian community made calculations for me using original S.Giorgio gunsight parameters, discovering that actual reticle was only a few smaller than Oleg's one, but I never could test it because I've a wrong point of view bug in all Macchi's cockpits (and only in them... too much hier.him manipulation?) and I never had found time enough to solve it.

I could be feasible, with new 3D converter any mesh file can be imported and edited, but also class files should have to be edited, definitely needing a new slot.

At now, I'm really too busy, other more important projects need attention and care (SM.79, Ju-88s, Blenheim MkIF) so I don't know if and when I could update this mod.

I cannot get this mod to work. I put the "files" folder in my " Mods" folder...can see the external modded cockpit just fine but cannot see from inside the cockpit. Can only view the aircraft from the outside. Anyone?

It seems to be a conflict with another mod, don't you have another MC.200 related mod?
Otherwise, it could be the hashed file pointing to new cockpit, but it works well for me and any other player... Try to add a '-' sign to other mods folders names and reload the game, maybe you can find the conflict.

About MC.200 Serie 7 cockpit, a dedicated one will be done.

I must confess, I'm baffled by this MOD. I downloaded it when I first saw it several months ago, installed it according to my understanding of the instructions, and this is what I see. Selecting QMB to test the download, choosing Axis/Italy in the hope that that was the "Italy" referred to, I found the MC200-1 works correctly both in F1(internal cockpit view) and F2(external cockpit view). However, though the modifications show in the F2 view, there is no change in the F1 cockpit view. The partial cockpit enclosures on the sides are still there. I've been dickering with this, on and off, trying different arrangements, without success. I've seen other similar problems in the thread. I've no idea what "choose Italy" means.

This is what I've done:
1. Unzipped and installed the files folder into my MOD folder as instructed. Result is what I have said above.
2. I now have 2 files folders, So I copied and pasted the MOD files folder into the files folder in the main IL2 1946 folder. No change.
3. Opened and examined contents of the MOD/files folder and discovered an internal files folder, as well as a paint schemes, samples, 3do, etc. folders. I thought they might need to be individually placed, so I put them in their various duplicated folders. No change.
I haven't broken anything yet. The games works, but without any detectable changes after the initial installation.
Can anyone offer any help?
Thanks
