Thanks for all the work, Muas. But.........

I installed the Bf-109/14AS with the AC3 button file. The install worked, except that I too lost my engine sounds with ALL a/c.

Will the buttons file you linked in your last post work for me as well?

You'll never know unless you try it.

This new buttons file it's the same as stated for AC installer v3 in the first post of this thread.

It uses only ingame sounds, so there is no way engines can't be heard.

If you still can't heard them, you gotta diable all mods one by one, to know where's the culprit.

Hello Muas, thank you again for your work.

I was wondering if you might know, since you probably researched the G-14/AS a lot to make this mod, when did it enter service with the Luftwaffe? Who used it? And where was it used?

I have some skins for JG2, JG300 and JG77, these are all in southern Germany/Mediterranean, yes?
It was produced at Regensburg then?
I have some markings, again from skins with the red band for JG300 so this is prior to November 44?
Are these skins accurate, as I should've thought many G-14/AS might've entered service Nov-Feb being produced alongside the G-10 and K-4? I'd have expected to see JG300 G-14/AS with blue-white-blue bands.
Did other units use them? Finally, know any extra links for G-14/AS skins?

And canonuk, if you're listening...mate Big Grin any new skins planned for this bird?

Here's the info I got from mmielli on the Bf-109G-14/AS:

BF-109G-14/AS - High altitude fighter with DB605AS or DB605ASM

The G-14, appearing in mid-1944 was basically a late-war Bf 109 G-6 with the aforementioned improvements standardized, and with MW 50 methanol/water injection increasing output to 1800 hp being a standard fitting. High-altitude models of the G-14 received the DB 605ASM engine and were named G-14/AS. There was increasing tendency to use wood on some less vital parts (e.g. on a taller tailfin/rudder unit, pilot seat or instrument panel) - not because of the shortage of strategic materials like aluminium as often suggested, but as it allowed freeing up metalworking capacity by involving of the woodworking industry of more parts.

Jagdgeschwader 11 - August 1944
In August 1944 each JG 11 Gruppe was increased to four Staffels, with a new 4./JG 11 formed from 10. and 11./JG 11. The old 4./JG 11 became the new 8 Staffel, and a new 7./JG 11 was formed (the old 7./JG 11 becoming 10./JG 11).

The skin I made for this new aircraft default is totally historical (based on Walter Wolfrum's aircraft). Found abandoned in Deutsch Brod at the end of the war.

And yes, I have other schemes planned.

Hi! I've a prob: after I've installed this new Bf with the last Muas buttons files I haven't engine sounds of these planes = both Beaufighters/both Do335/P51C-NT/TA152 C.

I'm using the UI1.1 version of JaFa soundmod.

Is there a correlation with that button file?

Thanks

Is it a complicated process to make static aircraft for all the new 109s?

Thank you very much Muas and Joe, for the links, info and advisories. Very pleased with this mod, it performs so superbly I can't climb back into an original in-game 109-late Big Grin :?

It really makes a statement about how improperly modelled they are :!:
