WOW man, I must have been dreaming and passed on this post completely.
After seeing all these posts and pictures, I think I am still dreaming!!

I have truly been missing quite ALOT...

I Bow down in respect to the magnificent artistic skills of CanonUK and his superb craftsmanship in creating this map. It is just completely mind-blowing.

I thank him and ALL who have been part of this project.
JUST MAGNIFICENT!!

Ok, some pics. Auto-populated a quarter of London and took some pics. I need to add landmarks to this area (i.e. Docklands etc) but these pics nicely show the suburbs (and a little village). Hopefully they show the level of city density you can expect from the map, with effectively no drop in FPS. When I built these objects, I had poly count, texture size and texture sharing firmly in mind, so big cities and almost no FPS hit.

I'll post better pics when London is fully done.
