Hello,
I have made a skin for my P-40 E and if i start the game it doesn't see it or read. What can i do that the game read it?
I hope you come with easy solution

it must be Indicated Color Mode (I hope its that in englisch, in German itss indiziert), and very important: it has to be bmp format. Size 1024x1024
I think thats it
1mb file 1024x1024 bitmap (.bmp) format. 8 bits. If your skin is 3mb then download the Bright FB skin converter. Either search it in google or download it at my site. (www) button
that BF program it don't work it missing thump file if i extract it i can't see it that it is there and if i run bright i see a fast window comming up and it is gone...
You can always import your skin into virtually any graphics editing program - GIMP, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop and many others no doubt, and use functions in those programs to reduce from 32 to 24 bit color.
In Paint Shop Pro the function is also called 'decrease colors to 256' -
When you decrease colors to 256 colors, there will usually be some extra options to choose from, but these will effect how the colors are rendered into the nearest 24bit equivalent. Experiment a bit with what looks best.
In Paint Shop Pro again, the best options are : 'Optimized median cut / error diffusion / reduce color bleeding'.
If you don't use PSP, then ignore this last set of options.
