My game won't recognize skins. I have no idea what's going on. Could someone help me?

You need to use a Program called Bright if they are skins you made, skins are also to be a 24bit bitmap with dimensions of 1024x1024.

My files are the correct format and size but I use gimp, not photoshop.

Many people are confused when it comes to gimp~You do NOT need Photoshop~
Simply drop the skin in the folder and run the Batch file and it will all be done for you, it does NOT need to be setup as a plugin for Photoshop.
